Tim Puch is a Clinical Assistant Professor in  Blindness and Low Vision Education and Program Coordinator for the Orientation and Mobility Program within the department.  As a certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist and certified Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired, Tim focuses on teaching people who are blind or visually impaired independent travel skills and independent living skills.  The courses he teaches include Independent Daily Living Skills for Children with Visual Impairments, Applied Orientation and Mobility, Advanced Orientation and Mobility.  Working in the School of Teacher Education within the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, Tim prepares future professionals to enter the field to work with people who are blind or visually impaired.  Prior to coming to FSU, Tim worked at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St. Augustine, FL, as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist, focusing his work on teaching students with both vision and hearing impairments.
