Dr. Wajeeha Hazoor Bajwa holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Prior to joining Florida State University, she acquired grant-writing and editing experience at non-profits and multilateral agencies. At the OoR, she specializes in research development for the life and social sciences, focusing on federal agencies (NIH, NSF, DOD) and foundations. Prior to joining FSU, Dr. Hazoor acquired extensive experience implementing applied research in education, maternal and child healthcare, and immunization in data-poor, low-income countries. She currently pursues a research agenda on school choice and contextualizing AI in learning for out-of-school children in the Global South. She is an Institutional Review Board member and Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program coordinator at Anne’s College. In her spare time, Wajeeha enjoys exploring Tallahassee and attending yoga classes.
