Dr. Roxanne Hughes is a Research III Faculty member at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab). She is also the Director of the Center for Integrating Research and Learning (CIRL). She has been a faculty member at FSU since 2012. In that time, she has established herself as a connector across FSU and beyond. She is committed to bridging gaps and siloes across departments to help faculty, particularly non-tenure track faculty, to thrive. In her role at FSU and the MagLab, she has demonstrated her commitment to problem-solving and collaboration to address issues at the student, faculty, and staff level. Her involvement at FSU has included serving on the FSU Diversity and Inclusion Council, the FSU National Coalition Building Institute, and the FSU Task Force on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion. Her experience on these committees demonstrates her ability to work with faculty and other leaders and advance policies on a department, university, and national level.
