Dr. Kristopher White is a faith-driven leader and a specialized teaching professor in the Sport Management Department at Florida State University. Dr. White has taught a variety of courses within the Sport Management domain and specializes in and researches a few areas, including Athlete Branding, Collegiate Athletics, Athletic Administration, NIL, Educational Experiences of Collegiate Athletes, Sport in Society, Exploring the World of Sport, Introduction to Sport Management, and International & Global Sport Venues. He has also assisted in developing and facilitating Fundraising in Sport, Sport and Literature, Sport: Conscience Meets Commerce, and Cross-Cultural Sport. Dr. White has been published in leading international journals in the field. His dissertation focused on the educational experiences of collegiate athletes, and he continues to do work in this area. He has been involved in various capacities in FSU Athletics and Kent State University Athletics and teaches a Freshman Transition class mandatory for all collegiate athletes. Dr. White has a deep passion for teaching and helping athletes succeed in life inside and outside their sport.

Before attaining a doctoral degree, Kris was a collegiate athlete at Kent State University, earning his undergraduate degree in Human Movement and master's degree in Sport Management while playing football. Following the completion of his master’s, he came back home to Florida and worked as a Graduate Assistant and doctoral student/candidate in the world renown FSU Sport Management department, where he earned his Ph.D. As a Sport Management professor, he now enjoys a blessed life with his wife and son.
