Interests
I am interested in social and emotional development in children from birth to 5 years, as well as parents’ and caregivers’ mental well-being and parenting strategies. As teaching faculty, I strive to provide quality education and an engaging learning environment to students to teach them about the nuances of family life and ways in which children, parents, and family systems can be supported throughout different phases of life. I mentor students on their individual journeys through active learning strategies in the classroom, encouraging self-reflection, and exploration on how concepts relate to both their personal and professional lives.
