The latest edition of Research Methods and Design in Sport Management (3rd Edition), authored by Anne's College Dean, Damon Andrew, has officially been released and features a strong Seminole connection.
The textbook’s cover highlights Florida State University’s national championship women’s soccer team, spotlighting Seminole alumna and 2023 Hermann Trophy winner Onyi Echegini. The design reflects both the excellence of FSU Athletics and the impact of its student-athletes on and off the field.
Andrew co-authored the book with Paul Pedersen, an FSU alumnus and Anne’s College Distinguished Alumni Award recipient. The cover itself was designed by Anne’s College graphic designer Colton Flynn (pictured above, left), bringing a uniquely FSU touch to the publication.
The textbook focuses on the collection and analysis of sport management research. With a strong emphasis on both qualitative and quantitative approaches, the book examines the entire research process and equips readers to produce high-quality, ethically sound, and impactful research tailored to the unique challenges of sport management.
