Dr. Tiffany Wilson serves as a Teaching Faculty II and the Coordinator of the Counselor Education Program in the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences at Florida State University. She holds a BA in Communication Studies and a BA in African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. From North Carolina A & T State University, she earned a MS in School Counseling and PhD in Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education.

Prior to working in academia, Dr. Wilson worked as a Licensed Professional School Counselor and a Licensed Career Development Coordinator in North Carolina public schools. Moreover, she worked as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in various clinical settings. In addition to being a licensed counselor, Dr. Wilson is also a National Certified Counselor, a Board Certified Tele-mental Health Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Her research interests include trauma and trauma informed care approaches among minority populations and supporting students disabilities in the K-12 educational system and in post-secondary institutions. Dr. Wilson is an active member in the American School Counseling Association (ASCA), the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and the Association of Humanistic Counseling.
