I FOUND MY PATH IN LIFE.
I wanted to make an impact on the world. I knew I wanted to work with children, and that was about all I knew.
LIVING MY PASSION FOR SPORTS.
I discovered there were so many opportunities and careers within the sporting industry.
THEY PUSHED ME OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE.
The support I received from my professors is like none I have experienced.

While proceeding through my pre-requisites, I became more interested in the benefits of being an educator and the impact that I could have on the lives of many people.
I FOUND MY HIGHER EDUCATION FAMILY.
My plans had always been to attend law school following graduation until I realized that Higher Education would be the perfect avenue for me to create positive change.
IT'S MY CALLING TO GIVE BACK.
I chose higher education because it is my calling to give back to students from similar (and even more disadvantaged) backgrounds like me. The vast nature of education allows me to transform the minds of students and the policies affecting their success.
I WANT TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN STUDENTS’ LIVES.
My passion for education has led me as far as deciding to become a teacher, because in a classroom is exactly where I want to spend my career.
