What do you do for the college?
I am the Academic Support Assistant for the School of Teacher Education. My primary responsibilities are processing the M.S. level applications for the B.S./M.S. pathway program for our future educators and providing academic processes support for the unit.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and watching nature documentaries when away from work.

What's something that is important to you or that motivates you?
I’ve always been motivated by impact. I aspire to leave a positive influence on the world, so every day, I aim to encourage and assist. I find serving others to be of great importance, and I, therefore, live by a code of altruism.

What's something on your bucket list?
I would love to visit each island of the West Indies. This has been inspired by my Jamaican heritage, and I find myself intrigued by the varying, yet similar cultures in the region.

What's a new hobby you've been wanting to get into?
I’ve been wanting to get into crocheting, yoga, and writing poetry.

What were you doing before you joined Anne's College and STE?
Before joining STE, I served as a Teach For America Corps member, where I spent time in the classroom as an 8th grade English instructor.
