
Colleen received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida before earning her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Colleen is a student in the Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology doctoral program, and her primary research interests include resilience and distress tolerance among high school and college-aged youth. She is particularly interested in the intersection of mental health and athletes, including concerns such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and stigma. She is a life-long athlete herself, and she enjoys coaching juniors’ volleyball all year round!
