Dr. Süleyman Olgar has taught graduate-level courses in the Measurement and Statistics program at the Florida State University since 2017.
Dr. Olgar earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and completed the Teacher Certification program from Cukurova University in Adana, Turkey. He earned an M.S. degree in Mathematics Education, an M.S. degree in Measurement and Statistics, and Ph.D. in Measurement and Statistics all from Florida State University.
Dr. Olgar has been serving the State of Florida in various education platforms since 2001. Since 2011, he has serving as the Psychometrics, Administration, Scoring and Reporting Director for Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Educator Testing Program in the Office of Postsecondary Assessment.
Dr. Olgar’s research interest includes certification testing, test equating and scaling, test fairness, automated scoring systems, and educational assessment policies and accountability.
