Emily Stover, a 2nd Year Ph.D. student in Special Education, has been selected as a 2022-2023 DEI Liaison for DADD. DADD recognizes the need to pay attention to factors of racial/ethnic injustice, disability injustice, and accessibility that negatively impact its members’ lives.

Addie McConomy, a doctoral student in special education, co-authored a publication from an Early Career research grant. The article, "Teacher-implemented modified schema-based instruction with middle-grades students with autism and intellectual disability" was also authored by Dr. Jenny Root and Dr. Sarah Cox (Special Education PhD '19).

Malaya Monk, Ed.S and Doctoral student in the combined Counseling and School Psychology Program will be presenting at this year's NASP (National Association of School Psychologists) Conference. Her presentation, which will also feature Dr. Kathleen Krach, will discuss aggressive behavior and how school psychologists can develop different interventions.
